Profile
We study abundances, reactions, and relations to astrophysical phenomena of the matter (interstellar molecules) in space. For this study we observe radio waves from interstellar space. So far, we mainly use the Nobeyama 45m radio telescope of National Astronomical Observatory of Japan in Nagano prefecture. We are also using ALMA (Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array) at Atacama desert in Chile.
We encounter many interesting behaviors of the matter which are different from those on the Earth. These are the attracting points of this research field.
