Current state of research and teaching activities
The design and synthesis of functional inorganic compounds with desired properties are becoming important in the research fields between inorganic chemistry and solid state chemistry. For this objective, it is indispensable to use the self-organization caused by local crystallizations through poly-nuclearization of metallic complexes or the regularization of the arrangement of atoms, ions and molecules in crystals. Only by these methods based on nanotechnology, it would become possible to control the composition, the crystal structure and the physical property of novel functional materials. In this study, the study about design, syntheses and characterization of the materials baseed on consideration mentioned above have been performed. Furthermore, study of soft chemical synthesis method used water as the environmentally tender solvent and these characterization have also been conducted.
