Current state of research and teaching activities
燃料電池は将来の高効率な発電システムとして期待されているが、固体酸化物燃料電池(SOFC)は燃料電池の中で最も高い効率が期待できる。
しかし、その普及には性能向上、コスト低減が不可欠である。特に空気極の性能を向上させることで、発電効率の向上、動作温度の低減による製造コストの低減が可能である。
そこで、空気極性能の大幅な向上を目的として、新しい空気極材料および空気極用触媒材料の研究を行っている。
